About Us

Do you desire to be a part of a mighty move of God? If you do, Green Springs Baptist Church is the place for you. God continues to move mightily in this 150-year-old congregation (founded in 1858). God has given us a new vision for His ministry in this place. Our purpose and vision is simple:

We exist to help people connect to God, grow in Christ, serve the world, and go tell others of Jesus' love.

Green Springs is a growing church, in a rural setting, that is asking the question, “What would God have us do?” as we serve in our world.  We are located just 7 miles Southeast of Hope Mills, 10 miles South of Fayetteville, and 3 miles East of Parkton, Green Springs is easy to find.

Our two morning worship services (beginning at 8:30 am & 11:00 am) are a great first step in experiencing our church. The 8:30 am Worship Service offers a more traditional blend of music, while the 11:00 Worship Service is a more contemporary blend of worship. One of the highlights of our worship service is the music. Under the direction of Charles Stevens, the choir, praise band and orchestra will lead you into a fresh,spiritual connection with the Lord through music. We also have state of the art sound, video, and projection systems, all to enhance the worship experience.
Sunday School/Small Groups begin at 9:45 am...alive with good Bible teaching and fellowship.

Wednesday evenings are “family-time” at Green Springs. It all starts at 5:30 pm with family dinner. Then we have a midweek worship that begins 6:30 pm featuring music plus teaching by Pastor Chris. Our children and youth are busy with age-specific Bible studies, including TeamKid for the kids and Student Impact Groups for the students. Praise Choir practice begins at 7:30!
